“Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) provides comprehensive residential care and counseling services for children who have suffered from physical or emotional trauma. RMYA’s services include emergency shelter, long-term residential care, TurningPoint a transitional living program, and family counseling services for the community. At RMYA we teach children to dream again!”

How You Can Help

We will be collecting items to support the residential services RMYA provides. They are specifically in need of the following:

• Sports Bras – youth girl and women’s ( probably best as a gift card )
• Bedding (twin) – Fitted Sheets, Pillowcases, Comforters
• Hygiene Supplies
  • Women’s feminine products
  • Any size deodorant
  • Full size body lotion (no bar soaps)
  • Full size shampoo and conditioner
  • Combs
  • Ethnic hair products
  • Facial cleansers
• Sensory Items
  • Fidget spinners
  • Stress Balls
  • Weighted neck “stuffies” scented and non scented
  • Stretch bands
  • Finger puppets
  • Calming Strips (anxiety sensory stickers)
• Gift Cards – Walmart- we could make sure we have the right sizes for winter clothing, and the kids can pick out what they want.
• Fun Board Games – for ages 5 and up
• RMYA also accepts financial donations to support their services.

We’re working to have a representative of RMYA come speak to us about their programs and how they support the San Antonio underserved community. Thank you for any help you can provide.
